Chapstick: A Food Group

I know this picture looks like the recovery of a teenage klepto's stash, but I actually got all eight of these in the mail today, and was I thrilled! I bought them here, and was a bit worried that it might be a fake site since I never got a confirming email and there was no shipping cost at all.

Dinah consumes chapstick as a food group. I don't usually, but I discovered Jones Soda Fufu Berry flavor at a fancy grocery store in a fancy grocery store in Colorado, and it was scrumptious. We never got back to that market, and I never found another market in Colorado that sold them.

When Dinah tasted it she declared it, on the spot, best chapstick ever.

I treasured the little tube and began to use it sparingly when I saw it was almost gone. I kept it in my car. Then one day it was missing. A day later I found it in the gutter, run over, all squished... aww, it was so sad. Quick, get me my google!

The flavors in this set are GREEN APPLE, FUFU BERRY, STRAWBERRY LIME, and ORANGE & CREAM. Who needs dinner now? I just tasted orange and cream: cream-luscious! Dinah will get four.

Chapstick is a food group of mine, too! It's at the base of the food pyramid. I carry it in my pocket and in my purse. (Blixtex Herbal Answer in the beautiful see-thru green tube). If it's a special occasion, I'll put Clinique Bamboo Pink on top (I have about 3 free tubes of that.) Can't WAIT to try Fufu Berry. Did you like the scene in Napoleon Dynamite where N. calls his uncle from school and begs him to bring his chapstick that he left at home?

Fufu berry set of 4 has picture of Laughing Sal on it. (Kind of.)

I'll have to try. I think this might have solved all my future gift-shopping dilemmas. I love my Burt's Bees lip balm, but there's no flavor. I always picture Linda with a tin of Carmex in her purse.

Our granddaughter, Sophia, ate it when she was younger. When she was about 3 she came upon a tube and pulled the cap off and said "hmm, nobody ate this one!" in the tone of voice you'd use if you just discovered a chocolate truffle.

I agree with sal- Burt's Bees lip balm is bland.
For hard core flavor seekers, click the link below. At one time they actually sold Cheetos flavored chapsticks! Their current flavor lineup includes Twinkie, Dots, SweeTarts and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

wow I had no idea that so many had tapped into this secret of survival.

Cheetos chapstick is particularly weird because once you've eaten Cheetos, don't they continue to coat your lips and fingers for several hours... or maybe that's the idea, the Cheetos experience without the sticky fingers...

Indeed these chapsticks are just awesome, one of the best in the market.
