But you know, when Anita says "My plez-zhore" when she first meets Snozzi (Make Me Psychic)--that puts "My Old Flame" to shame.
Linda's right; Mae couldn't hold a candle to Anita.
Mae West was the greatest, but thanks for the nice words. I once saw her in San Francisco, at an old theatre that survived from vaudeville days, on Market Street. She was so old she was sort of carried out and propped up, said a few lines and was carried out again. The mostly gay audience went wild.
and the funny thing about old flames, these days, is they contact you on the internet!
