My film has been included in the 2009 National Film Registry.
"The National Film Preservation Board members enthusiastically supported this addition to the more than 500 U.S. films now recognized as "culturally, historically and aesthetically significant" and worthy of preservation.".

I saw this wonderful sculpture on Wired, along with five others. I thought it looked a bit like a grizzly. There wasn't much information on the artist however.
I like any artist who assembles something cool out off unexpected materials. They're way ahead of those pretentious types who, say, put some nail clippings in a jar and give it an obtuse name like "Truth and Offerings"
Cool! This IS like the crayon sculpture. You post more on vacation than I do normally. I have a frame shop in my house now, have to clear a path so we can walk.

I didn't match your posted pic with her portfolio, but this looks like the work of Jennifer Maestre. Fantastical work! http://www.jennifermaestre.com/
I clicked becky's link and it does look like the same artist.

Reminds me of a porcupine....
It looks like the mythological beast, the Gorca. Half grizzly and half Orca. Absolute hell on both seals and salmon.
