A very nice stop motion video sent to me by Karl Cohen.
Some info on how it was done:
* The video was shot all stills - roughly 3225 still photos for the entire video, using one camera, hanging from the ceiling for the main body of the movie.
* It took 4 weeks before shooting to create an animated computer generated storyboard for the video, with 3d dummies for the characters.
* It took only 2 days of shooting for the live actors on set to re-create the 3.5 minutes computer sequence, frame by frame.

This is wonderful! I love the undersea sock fish especially.
That's very clever. One of it's charms is it doesn't take itself too seriously- there's cute dancing and hanging-from-the-edge gags. A lesser filmmaker could have gotten into an look how obtuse and artistic and mysterious I am! thing.
My opinion, at least.
I thought the way they did it was so interesting, I mean the detailed storyboard that they were recreating. If you don't know exactly where you're going with stop motion you can speed things up much too much.
I almost didn't like the guy entering it, but I think even that more or less works. She must be a dancer, she's so graceful.
The weird--and nice--thing about this animation is that I didn't even realize it was a "music video" until I bought the piece of music. (I think that's why the part where the guy comes in might feel so out of place--is he really the singer, Oren Lavie?)
