Abandoned houses are spooky. Maybe it's because they're the opposite of what we associate with a house - light, heat, food, maybe company. Any time I see one (in person or in photo), I wonder what it was like in its prime. Who lived there? What happened to them?

This house looks a lot like our house when we first bought it.
