and me in the woods. It's been so warm here and no snow since mid October. The local economy is totally dependent on ski season, so the weather is a big issue.
At first I thought Linda meant the eyes were moving in the Rock of Uncertainty, and I thought, oh, that Linda, she's such a kidder. Then I saw it: the eyes in the page header are moving -- it's great!
The climate is going through such upheaval here. Today's local papers had a Colorado weather report for winter that was quite grim for the San Juans, where we are. Many Aspen trees in the area are suffering from sudden Aspen decline (s.a.d.) which biologists were slow to identify and are bewildered as to its cause.
Katy, these are all Aspen. Although Birch also have white bark, they don't grow naturally in Colorado.
When you look at my blog do you see some other message coming through on the right side? Looks as if Blogger has been hacked? I saw it on another blog tonight.

Oh! The eyes up there! They're moving!

Was the rock gazing skyward? He seems to be worried about the lack of snow himself.

In the photo, birches or aspens?
