That's so funny! I thought i'd put a title on every picture, but guess not. That's looking in an abandoned trailer on the mesa, that's been there for twenty years or more.
speaking of crockpots, we had a truly great meal of (don't puke) Bison Pot Roast. They sell it fresh in Montrose and it's less fat, no antibiotics or hormones, than beef. I just used the classic recipe that people always want to tell you when they've just gotten crock pots, the one with Lipton soup mix and usual vegetables. It was outstanding, can't wait to make it again.
Actually I don't look like Dinah at all but thanks for the compliment. She looks like she should be one of my brother's children.
Does bison taste different than beef? I hear they're closely related to cattle and can hybridize, the result being called (I'm not making this up) "beefalo".

But Sally! What happened? Did the crock pot start a fire? (Last photo.)
You look a lot like Dinah!
Looks like you're having great times (other than kitchen fire.)

Namowal, It really tasted like tender beef, but it didn't have visible fat on it.
I only just now found this slide show. It's fun! I like the face in the window.
