Doing My Part

Oh yeah I'm doing my part to improve the economy. I ordered this new tablet computer from HP before I knew that Sandy Claws might be sending every citizen a check.

I've been eying tablet computers for quite some time, and all the reviews coming in on this one are positive so I took the leap. It hasn't arrived yet.

Last night I dreamed when I opened it, it was soft and floppy like a giant gray cube of jello and worked like one of these party favor tablets where you peel the greasy top layer to draw another image.

(It's supposed to come next week. It may actually be built in the USA, or maybe I'm naive.)

Congrats on the tablet p.c. I bet you can't wait for it to arrive!
That's funny about about your dream where it worked like a Magic Slate. Come to think of it, I'm surprised nobody has manufactured the latter, shaped like a tablet p.c. as a gag gift.

Sally, so is this the one where you actually draw on the screen?
Does it have a camera & mic built in?
If we ever got over our phone phobia, we could Skype.
Luckily that probably won't be any time soon, so I can delay my plastic surgery.

I got an email that the computer's been shipped. Exciting. Linda, this is one where you draw on the screen.

I think this is great. Sally, your freehand drawings are exquisite but I can detect that the computer mouse hampers your efforts. I'm looking forward to seeing some stellar quality digital work from you soon, and I'll estimate a larger quantity may happen as well?

O bless us with sketches and doodles and tiny characters living in small cozy places. :)
