The Big White Gas Tank

This is our propane tank. For several years I've been urged to paint it to look like the old tank that was taken away. The old tank was painted around 1985, named the SS Marmotta, and was quite appealing. Here's a picture of it. It was a rental tank.

I took pictures of it in stages of completion.

We own the new white tank. It's slightly smaller. I think I'm going to paint it, maybe even this week. I bought paints for it last week. I'll put dogs past and present in the submarine windows. You did see that it was a submarine, didn't you?

ps those who use blogger.com-- did you know that all your blog's pictures are already stored in albums at Picasa? I was surprised when I figured it out.

Yes, this needs a submarine treatment. The old one was so cute. I can almost see it popping to the surface from under a sea of grass (or brush).

I wish you were here to help me with it!

You definitely see that it's a sub. Either that or a pig.

In case you have an extra window for a cat face, Mabel was a black & white with a beauty mark. What kind of paint do you use?

Thanks for the tip about Picasa. I had no idea!

Sub looks fun.

Thanks about Picasa. How do we access pictures?

Sally, when you go to the sign in page for google there's a link to Picasa. In my case I had so many images they'd started me on a second album. You get 500 pix per album and an option to put a cover on it. ?? If you delete any images from your original blogger album they're deleted from your blog as well. You can keep the albums private or make them public with a click. I need to investigate it more. I have no idea why there were five pix of John Edwards!

OH MY GOD!! I have 4 albums. This is wild!! Apparently they keep every single photo you've ever uploaded, even if you've looked at it and decided to take it down.
