Pet Society

Facebook has an app called "Pet Society" that is a Flash marvel. I am so enchanted with this game, maybe all the more so because I can't even start to imagine all the wondrous code coming together to make it work so smoothly.

I used to talk about terrible show horse names and had chosen "Toxic Dump" as one that you wouldn't be too likely to encounter.

And into the ring comes Sally Cruikshank riding Toxic Dump.

So I picked that as the name of my little character on the left. Now I'm stuck with it. Blog pals Namowal and Russell... are also in my neighborhood and I hope you'll join too. We dance, hug, kiss, tell jokes, and earn coins. The friend I'm with here I picked up in the cafe.

Incredible time waster but so sweet.

I'm a sucker for pet-based games like that.

It must be interesting to look at games from a code perspective; I stopped taking PC classes after Hardware 1, so I never learned any code.

...of course, I'm only 19 >_< What's stopping me?

I like how if you haven't washed in awhile you have flys buzzing around your head. Not that I've ever done that.

I just joined the Pet Society. Baby Remus is my name. I can tell it's going to be intoxicating. Namo just gifted me a modern chair in sick green.

I'm sorry I said "gifted." It's so awful that I say it over and over and I love saying it.

That game! Why is it that I can't stay away?
Then again, from what I've seen, pets neglected long enough accumulate more than flies...

Do you ever go to the races there? There's not much strategy to the betting, but running them is kind of fun. I'm usually the one knocking down the hurdles.

I joined, but it seemed like maybe too big a commitment.
