The grouse was in the driveway. The guest came to stay last night. He didn't grouse and he wasn't grouchy. He's moving back to Connecticut after years in L.A. in the movie business. This was a stop along the way. I baked a very nice peach pie.

At first glance I thought the "guest" was the grouse itself (with some whimsical details thrown in by you). A second look (and the picture) set me straight.
p.s. Maybe a grouse would make a good cartoon character? Aren't they the models that come with pimped up airbags?
