Mountain Technology

Anyone set up a web cam? I bought this robodog web cam last Christmas as a generic gift for a party I didn't go to. I've always been curious about how webcams work.

I got it to capture my mug but it's an avi and I can't figure out how you get a jpg from that. Since robodog only cost $10.00 there's no tech support. I may figure it yet though.

We took a 2 1/2 hour walk today and saw a herd of elk split up across the mesa top. They were honking and hollering: mesa monkeys. Molly had pretty good self control, and it was a gorgeous dandelion day.

That's an old cast iron stove from my mother's mammy doll collection.

Sally, so now that you're there, are you happy to be in CO? It sounds like you've had 2 magical walks.

I was expecting a drawing from your tablet, but it looks like your cel phone is serving you well. Robodog is very handsome.

Maybe Molly should teach robo dog how to behave himself?
After being canned in a car for most of Sunday, I bet a 2 1/2 hour walk was a treat.

We have a webcam but haven't used it much. I know zero about how it works though. I'm just the chimp punching keys. I like the photo of your cam. It looks like something that needs a name, besides cam...uh, Mr. Peepers?

Ah, sheesh. Proves I shouldn't post when I'm in my insomniac mode.

Linda, It's really great to be here. Because Dinah was always in school, we haven't been here in early June for almost twenty years. The wildflowers are mostly still waiting to open up.

Today is our big go to town day. Mr. Peepers is a good name for him, mean jean.
